LS108H Spectrum Transmission Meter

Designed for glass, PC, PMMA, coated glass and thick transparent materialsThe LS108H spectrum transmission meter is suitable for optical transmittance testing of glass, PC, PMMA, acrylic, coated glass, transparent plastics and thicker transparent samples. Compared with the LS108A/LS108D, which focus on IR holes and small apertures in mobile-phone lenses, the LS108H is better suited to thicker materials, larger transparent areas and multi-band light transmission checks. Please confirm suitability based on sample thickness, material, wavelength band, surface condition and quality-control requirements.

LS108H Spectrum Transmission Meter

Optical transmittance testing for glass and thick transparent materials

The LS108H is a benchtop optical transmittance meter for glass, PC, PMMA, acrylic, coated glass, transparent plastics, coated materials, lenses and other uniform transparent samples. Its 1 mm test aperture supports visible-light, infrared and ultraviolet transmittance measurement for material quality control, incoming inspection, process comparison and optical transmission checks.

With a flat benchtop design for samples of different shapes and a parallel-light-path design, the LS108H can be evaluated for thicker materials. Compared with the LS108A and LS108D, which focus on IR holes and small apertures in mobile-phone lenses, the LS108H is better suited to thicker materials, larger transparent areas and multi-band transmission checks. Confirm suitability based on sample thickness, material, surface condition, wavelength band, measurement location and quality-control requirements.

Measurement Principle

Ultraviolet, infrared and visible light sources illuminate the transparent sample. The sensors measure incident light intensity and the intensity transmitted through the sample. Transmittance is calculated as transmitted intensity divided by incident intensity and displayed as a percentage, helping compare the optical transmission of different materials, thicknesses or production batches.
