YL70 Non-Contact Spectrophotometer
YL70 Non-Contact Spectrophotometer
The YL70 uses 45/0 measurement geometry for fast, repeatable color measurement without contacting the sample. It is designed for automated production lines, robotic integration and inline color monitoring where contact probes may contaminate the sample, collect residue or scratch a sensitive surface.
Use the instrument to measure liquids, pastes, powders and other suitable surfaces. A non-contact method helps maintain sample integrity and supports continuous quality checks during manufacturing. Confirm the sample presentation and measurement distance with your process before installation.
Designed for production-line integration
- 45/0 non-contact measurement for suitable liquid, powder and scratch-sensitive samples.
- Supports inline color monitoring and quality control on automated production lines.
- USB, RS485, RS232, Ethernet, external trigger and analog output options support host and automation integration.
- Can be configured for robotic or machine integration after confirming mounting space, working distance and trigger sequence.
For related instruments and selection support, see our color measurement instruments or contact our team about your sample and line conditions.
Selection and implementation checklist
- Identify sample type, color range, surface condition and whether the sample can move during measurement.
- Confirm working distance, measurement spot, instrument mounting and environmental conditions.
- Define line speed, trigger timing, sampling frequency and pass/fail criteria.
- Confirm the required interface, protocol, output format and PLC or host-computer connection.
- Validate repeatability against your reference method and production acceptance limits.
Specifications and interface availability may vary by configuration. Please confirm the final setup with the supplier before purchase or integration.
