LS332 Luminance Meter
LS332 Luminance Meter
Luminance, flicker, color temperature and spectrum measurements for displays, backlight modules and lighting
The LS332 Luminance Meter uses a spectral sensor and is suitable for checking the luminance and optical characteristics of displays, backlight modules, lighting fixtures, projection equipment, HDR screens and a wide range of light-source products. It measures parameters including luminance, flicker frequency, color rendering index and correlated color temperature, and displays spectral curves to help R&D and quality-control teams identify differences between light sources and backlight modules.
Luminance measurement
Suitable for measuring the luminance of displays, backlight modules, luminous panels and lighting fixtures. Applications include R&D validation, in-process sampling and luminance comparisons before shipment.
Flicker and light-source checks
Measures flicker frequency to help determine whether a light source or display has a flicker issue. It is suitable for lighting quality control and display testing.
Color temperature and color-rendering evaluation
Measures correlated color temperature and color rendering index, supporting white-point consistency checks for lighting fixtures, backlights and displays, as well as the development of light-source quality standards.
Spectral curve display
Displays spectral curves in real time to help compare spectral-distribution differences among backlights, LED sources and display equipment.
Selection note
The LS332 is primarily designed to measure the luminance of an emitting surface or display, normally expressed in cd/m². If the goal is to measure illuminance falling on a surface from a light source, consider an illuminance meter. Select the instrument according to measurement distance, luminance range, measurement aperture, sample size and the quality-control workflow.
