YS3060 Horizontal Spectrophotometer | Dual Apertures & UV Measurement
The 3nh YS3060 is a horizontal benchtop spectrophotometer designed for objective color measurement in laboratories and quality-control workflows. Its D/8° geometry uses diffuse illumination with an 8° viewing angle and supports simultaneous SCI and SCE measurement. This helps teams assess sample color with and without the specular component, according to their application and evaluation method.
The instrument provides interchangeable Φ8 mm and Φ4 mm measurement apertures. The larger aperture supports general-purpose testing, while the smaller aperture can help measure smaller or more localized areas. A combined LED illumination source and UV option support applications where ultraviolet influence or fluorescent samples must be considered. Confirm the required UV configuration and measurement method for the material before ordering.
YS3060 can measure spectral data and color values including Lab. The listed color spaces include CIE LAB, XYZ, Yxy, LCh, CIE LUV and HunterLAB; available color-difference formulas include ΔE*ab, ΔE*uv, ΔE*94, CMC, ΔE*00 and Hunter-based evaluation. Its 400–700 nm wavelength range, 10 nm interval and 10 nm bandwidth provide the stated basis for product comparison. Actual results depend on sample preparation, surface, aperture, calibration and the selected observer and illuminant.
Typical evaluation contexts include plastics, electronics, coatings, inks, textiles, garment dyeing and printing, ceramics and other materials where repeatable color data supports formulation, incoming inspection or production QC. The 3.5-inch TFT color touch display, camera-assisted positioning, USB and Bluetooth communication, and onboard storage are intended to support routine operation and data review. Product information lists storage for up to 1,000 standard samples and 28,000 test samples.
When selecting a configuration, confirm the sample size and surface, Φ8/Φ4 mm aperture requirement, SCI/SCE method, UV needs, observer angle, illuminant, color space and reporting workflow.
